*Another idea (maybe i should write them down and compile them to one post, lol)
A feature that allows us to enter other user's e-mail.
Example -
Through admincp i check the user's. I click on a user name and i have the option to view their e-mail (inbox, folder, etc...)
Thanks again

How about a change password feature? It does not have to change the actual web server's password (although it would be nice) it could just change the user's "access" password.
Example-
I create the user's account and give them their user name and password. The user can then log in and change their password to whatever they like. |

WebMail Pro account password and mail server account password is the same thing. And, as you probably know, it's not possible to change mail server account password from WebMail Pro, this simply is not supported by any standard mail protocol.
There's a chance that separate credentials system for WebMail Pro account access will be added in the future releases.

Hello.
Some feature i consider very usefull:
1-Ability to create users without knowing their mail password. When a user login to Webmail Pro, it will be validated by mail server (very nice feature from eGroupware)
2-Create groups of users and share calendars selecting users or groups from a dropdown list, not just typing exact mails.
3-Ability to collapse or expand imap folders, avoiding very long list in left panel.
Thanks,
Lorenzo.

Dear developers,
first of all, I'd really like to thank you for that really neat webmailer and that 5-users license. I was desperately looking for a roundcube alternative, since this webmail client seems to have some problems with my imap inbox and updating for new messages. Anyway, I just installed your webmailer and already love it :-)
Some things that bug me however, and which I'd like you to know for future releases maybe, are:
- Missing import/export function for contacts from/to vcard(s)
- Missing ical import into a calendar
- Missing automatic check for new emails every x minutes
- Missing possibility to rearrange the columns (subject, sender, date, ...) in the email messages overview (I just hate the date to be on the left side ;-) )
- Missing ability to add as many adresses as I wish for one specific user in the adressbook (along with Messenger details, further phone numbers, ...) - it should all in all be more customizable
- Missing possibility to directly delete an email instead of moving it into the trash
and last but not least:
- I'd love to have labels as in google mail :-) Maybe this might be possible for cached messages...?
Please Keep up the good work!

Oh, and please make it possible that new dates in the calendar can be inserted correctly by spanning a range of hours with the left mouse button as in google too.
btw, I am using Firefox 3.5.5 under Arch Linux.

Hello community, first of all, i like webmail pro a lot!
I made some enhancements since i needed an google update function. It works perfect.
Following adds would be great:
* Calendar -> Location field, reminder field
* Possibility to log into calendar directly
Cheers

I am using webmail pro since a very long time and what I am missing most is :
1) the possibility to read or write an email in a separate window : Often, when writing an email, I need to check information that are in other mails...
2) Not really a request but a logic fault fix : The check if an account exist is based on "email" and "login". This is totaly wrong as the email cant be validated and may change !
With default login form, user enter "email", "login" and "password". Login and password are used to try to log to POP/IMAP server. If it is ok, then email and login are used to check if account already exist in webmail. If nothing match, a new account is created.
That mean that : If user do a typo when entering his email, he will still log into the webmail but on a new account. (very confusing).
That also mean that if a user change his email in his setting, the next time he try to login with his usual creditential, a new account will be created!
Checking if an account exist should really be done with "login" and "incoming mail server". Thats the only 2 values that depend on each others and are validated when first login.
I will try to post a patch for this later.
3) When creating a new account, it would be nice if the user was asked to fill some extra settings before going to the mailbox. For example, the "Full name" and real "E-mail".
Sure, they can go into the "setting" and do it but most users forget and then their emails may be sent with wrong return address...

Blacklists are supported already if WebMail Pro is used within MailSuite Pro for Linux (SpamAssassin is utilized there). If you're using plain WebMail Pro, you can blacklist particular senders using Filters.

I thought for a button in the menu as it is spam, which had allowed the filtering of many e-mails at once, because when you have hundreds of e-mail is difficult to use that filter.
Thanks Festim.

I'd also like to be able to add other emails but wouldn't that be illegal? Or considered spam?

I would like to suggest filter priorities, so that the order in which filters are matched can be influenced. Filters that are more like a catch all should be matched only after the more specific ones. For example a specific filter on 'from' should be matched before a more general filter on 'To' (I use 4 or 5 mail aliases).

Another feature I would like to see is Sqlite storage, so WebMail Pro can run on simple hardware, like my modem with Freetz.

SyncML on its way, will be available in the next release.
z-push is being currently researched, there is a great chance we'll support it in one of upcoming releases later this year.

Alex

I also think forget password option is a must. There must be someway
users can recover their passwords without involving their site admins.

There's no way to implement this for standalone WebMail Pro, but as for MailSuite Pro, this is already available in Linux version (disabled by default, though), and there's a chance this will be added for Windows version as well.

Hi
What about "Applications Pool"
like in Yahoo or Gmail ?
For example : Flickr, Twitter, Pingg
Add this Application layer in to WebMail
as Folders
-- Mail --
Inbox
...
Trash

Twitter
Flickr
Plingg

Could you please explain that a bit? I mean, what exactly those additional "folders" should do?
