Hello there,
I noticed that in your demo: http://www.afterlogic.com/webmail-pro-net/webmail.aspx

You got a nice Spam function and when you delete a message it move into the Trash folder, instead of grey out..

I have just updated my webmail from 4.4.x i guess to the newest 4.5.5 - But I don't got those features?

No spam feature, and when I delete a message it still grey out, no trash?

Any good explanation?

Best regards,
Jeppe Richardt

Spam filter is available in WebMail Pro only when it's used along with AfterLogic XMail Server Pro. Deep integration with mail server is required, using standard POP3/IMAP/SMTP protocols is not enough.

As for the Trash folder, it's currently available for POP3 or XMail-hosted accounts. In IMAP accounts, messages are striked out when you mark them as deleted. However, we're developing alternative approach so that messages are moved to Trash folder in IMAP too. Most probably, users will be able to select the mode they like.

Okey, sad that the spam filter not can be used with the webmail only.. Well I don't know how that work, but a "simple" one as in outlook where you can right-click and say Spam..

Btw. Right-Click menu would be the last step, to make it a desktop program feeling..

It would be nice with the Imap and trash function, the strike out is a bad solution i think.. (I know outlook uses it too, but there you at least can make it delete the stroked out when you change folder)

I was in contact with the support over mail, and we found out that there was a problem with the "Filters" function and Imap.. When you e.g. make a specific mail goto the folder "Test" the email never got received!.. - Is that fixed in 4.5.5

- Can't find the list of changes for each version?

Thank you for the suggestion, we'll consider adding this in subsequent releases of the product.

I will request information on this from developers team on Monday.

Currently, there is no publicly available changelog for WebMail Pro. You can check "What's new" section at the product page. Minor versions (like 4.5.*) are maintenance builds, they only contain bugfixes and no new features.

I've got a response from our developers team regarding filters in IMAP. This requires rewriting filters management in WebMail Pro completely, so it'll take much time to be completed. We're unable to tell when it will be fixed, but there's a chance the fix will be available in WebMail Pro 4.6.

Indeed, this feature is not currently available. We're going to add this in one of subsequent releases, probably in 4.6 version.

Well, the release date is not determined yet. However, based on the statistics that new major versions (4.3, 4.4, 4.5 and so on) are released every three months approximately, version 4.6 will probably become available in May-June 2009.
