I am unable to add my @live.com and @outlook.com email address'. I believe this is due to no MS OAUTH ability. How can I add these accounts?
FYI - I have a PRO license, thanks!

Hello,
We've recently addressed this at:
https://s.afterlogic.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=9525&PN=1
Quote:
A few years back, Microsoft announced that they're going to discontinue basic authentication (with the use of username/password) in favor of modern authentication (OAuth2). Initially it was for corporate Outlook.com accounts only, but since then, free email accounts apparently were moved to that platform as well.
Thus, seems it is not currently possible to access Microsoft email accounts with Aurora, or with any other IMAP client that doesn't support OAuth2; at the moment, we only support OAuth2 for Gmail, and we may consider adding such support for Microsoft accounts as well. |

Thank you.

Additionally, I would mention that this can be implemented in terms of custom development contract, please let us know if you may be interested.

Igor - You have known about this issue for years, and you have not implemented a fix for it. This seems hurtful to your userbase. I paid for a premium license for premium features, yet oauth is a standard feature.
I would not be interested in a custom dev fix. Please patch your applications with proper oauth support as this is a required email standard.

OAuth 2.0 support for Outlook.com is not something on our TODO list. Our webmail products are mainly intended for usage with mail servers of organizations and service providers (when a company or provider needs a web front end for its mail server). Usage with public mail services like Outlook.com is a very rare scenario. It's simply not worth implementing and supporting it. It's ok when a public mail service simply works just because it's a normal IMAP mail server (i.e. working with it doesn't require anything special from us) but this is not the case with Outlook.com.
Regards,
Alex

Thanks for the follow up. I didn't think it would be such an outlier with the multiple forum requests, and the feature seems to be built into your other applications already.
On your features page, you may want to update the OAUTH2 support with an asterisk, as you are only supporting some platforms.
Have a good day.
