Hello,
I am looking at moving a small, but
distributed, organization into AfterLogic
WebMail Pro. I have two questions.
1 I am wondering if anyone out there has
experience of using the product for a longer
period of time for 30plus users where several
users have 500mb+ size of their inbox.
Basically - how well does this application
scale?
2 Is it approachable, moving an organization
from Exchange to Webmail, to import mail from
Exchange? Perhaps simply open POP3 on
Exchange and let Webmail import the mail that
way?
Anyway - thanks for a great product.

Well I can't speak for other customers, but I use PHP version of WebMail on daily basis myself, and I don't have any problems using my GMail account which has gigabytes of mails now.
The thing is, WebMail Pro is highly configurable in this regard. I am using IMAP access, and I can choose whether I'd like to store only message headers on WebMail end, or download them completely, or access mails directly on mail server. There's always a choice between performance and disk space used, and you can choose the option which suits you best.

WebMail is not a replacement for mail server software as it's only an email client, just like Mozilla Thunderbird or Outlook Express. You will need a mail server to use WebMail Pro for mailbox access, and Exchange is certainly an option, if it has IMAP or POP3 enabled there.
