An antivirus software may block zip-files uploaded to the server. It may be running on server as well as on client workstation you try to attach files from. Try to disable the antivirus software temporarily for testing purposes.
The issue may be also caused by either file size or file type limits. Please try to attach small zip-files (say, 10-50 Kbytes) and small .exe-files and let us know if it works.
Regards,
Igor
