When using the MailBee Webmail Pro .NET app, what exactly is the first logon screen logging in to? We are having difficulty setting-up new users (manually) and then having them signon. After manually creating the users from the Mailadm interface and setting all of the settings, password, etc... users are still not able to logon (invalid user name/password error). Are they just logging on to the Webmail app at that point (ie SQL server)? Or do these credentials have to match the SMTP/POP3 accounts ? (At that stage we are not yet trying to send or receive email). Also, when creating users manually it allows us to create multiple users with the same name - which leads to problems. Is this a Webmail Mailbee setting or an SQL setting (eg primary key)?
TIA for any help on this one ...

WebMail Pro works in exactly the same way as any other email client. To access mail account on any mail server, you should configure WebMail account and specify proper POP3/SMTP credentials: email address, login (it may be either full email address or just a username, depending on mail server requirements), password, server and port.
Actually, it's not necessary to create WebMail Pro accounts manually. You may check "Allow automatic registration of new users on first login" option in "WebMail Settings" screen of WebMail Admin Console, and if user logs in for the first time, account in WebMail Pro would be created automatically.
If you create user accounts manually, there shouldn't be any problems regarding multiple users with the same name. If you experience difficulties about it, please describe the issue in more detail.

Igor

In addition to the previous post:
Actually, it's not possible to create several accounts in WebMail Pro with the same username and/or email address. However, if you create accounts linked to your default WebMail Pro account (Setting > Email Accounts > Add Account), there are no restrictions of this kind.
