I have setup my server settings but I keep getting the error:
"Can't connect to POP3 server, check POP3 server settings."
I am using my host provided email from GoDaddy, some PHP scripts require a proxy to setup. Does Webmail need this? Is so, where?
my webmail address is below, I have advanced login enabled, please try an alternate account

Could you enable logging in WebMail Admin Console (mailadm) / Debug Settings / Enable Logging, reproduce the issue and provide us with the log file for examination? Or even better, please provide us with password to WebMail Admin Console (mailadm), so we'd be able to reproduce the issue and check the log directly.
Best regards,
Andrew

I'm having this same problem "Can't connect to POP3 server,
check POP3 server settings."....but when I go to enable log,
the check mark disappears as soon as I click "Save."

First, please make sure that you have supplied proper credentials for POP3 access. While some servers require username as login, others may require full email address as login.
It's also possible that port 110 access is blocked on your webserver. To check this, try accessing POP3 account on other mail servers using "Advanced Login" mode.
If you're using your own webserver, please make sure this port is not blocked by any protective software (antivirus/firewall/etc). In case if you use webhosting account, you may contact your hosting provider for help with regard to this issue.
The reason why the checkbox may not be set to on is probably insufficient write permissions for the data folder, settings subfolder and settings.xml file. Try setting 777 permissions for those folders and 666 permissions for the settings.xml file.
Regards,
Igor

Go to Admin Panel > WebMail Settings > Login Settings > check Automatically detect and correct if user inputs e-mail instead of account-name
