Hi,
I try run WebMail Lite ver 9.7.5 on MySQL 8.0
when I confirm the entered data regarding the database, I get the following message
Failed to connect. (SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user 'userXXX'@'localhost' (using password: YES))
all data is correct because I can log in to phpmyadmin with them
WebMail Lite ver 9.7.5 support MySQL 8.0 ?

Hello,
Indeed, the product supports MySQL versions starting from 5.7.8.
If you're positive the credentials are correct, I'd recommend to enable logging in admin interface, set log verbosity to Debug, try connecting again and see if there are any other error messages in the logs found under data/logs directory.

Hi,
we close the topic,
hosting provider, has two versions of mySQL
7.4 on localhost
8.0 on mysql8
of course, the services are on different ports but he forgot to inform about it!
sorry for the confusion,
everything works correctly!
