Hi there,
i looked at the SabreDAV Website for a new version with the "CalDAV Scheduling" function (for example: to invite participants with an Apple iOS Device).
Are there any upgrade plans for the "integrated" version SabreDAV to the new 2.1.x Version in Aurora or Webmail Pro?
SabreDAV developers discontinue the support for SabreDAV framework branch 1.8 on May 1st, 2015...
Regards
zoeck

Indeed we consider the upgrade. The only problem here which prevents us from doing it right now is that we'll have to discontinue PHP 5.3 support since SabreDAV 2.1 requires 5.4 at least - PHP 5.3, however, still seems to be widely used on server platforms, as part of cPanel environment for example.

You can tell this to cPanel vendor. We'd be happy if they follow your advice and upgrade to the latest PHP throughout the system. Even 5.3 is still a problem with many cPanel installations as many of them are still 5.2 (cPanel upgraded to 5.3 not long ago). So, we have to stick with that :(

Alex

Perhaps, it's possible to create a fork with new version of SabreDAV for your case. Please contact us via Helpdesk to discuss the details.

Alex
