I just installed web-mail lite [7.6.8] on my Ubuntu server and everything went perfectly smoothly except that now when I'm configuring things I don't see the option to "Use specified login" under Mail Server Settings

The documentation for webmail-lite says there should be three options, but I only see two:
- No authentication
- Use incoming mail's login/password of the user

Where's the third option (Use Specified Login) mentioned in the documentation. I need it... Please help.

Here's the documentation that promised me the needed but non-existent third option:

That option is only available for specific domain rather than a default one, hence it isn't available in WebMail Lite. Sorry about the confusion, we'll fix the documentation page shortly.

nooooo... Please, are you sure I can't use that??

Without this option, many people like me will be forced to use... rainloop!

Please reconsider this as it doesn't really seem realistic to not have this basic function.

Rainloop and Roundcube both allow for this option in their free software. I'm afraid these competitors are getting a lot of the market because of their powerful entry level clients. Having the Specific Login option would allow a loot more users like me to get on board and spread the word online. The more popular the free option is for individual users the more interest the pro option will get.

I've discussed this with the developers team, and most likely, we'll be bringing the option back to Default settings in the next version of the product. Right now, this looks much like a bug as the options are there in settings.xml file but have no effect for the actual accounts.

Thank you very much. I really believe that you have the best product and it will be great to have it wider used so that people will see it as the go-to option instead of the competition that gets more attention. Thank you for your attention.
