Hi,

People have asked this question before, but I need some help with the latest version (7.5).

My web host blocks all SMTP traffic no matter what port is used (rude, I know!). This is a problem, as I want to host WebMail Lite on my website.

Can the current version of WebMail Lite be modified to use the PHP Mail() function instead of SMTP?

In theory, that might be possible, but we're not aware of any modifications submitted by third parties, and there's no configuration options in the product which would make it work that way.

If you provide a modification or plugin which would enable this functionality, we'll be more than happy to publish it, with the proper credits of course.
