Is it possible to do the following
Firstly get the EML file name returned when an email is submitted to 'Pickup' directory, so It can be related back to the database I am using to generate it
Secondly extract from the log file the error message or reason for an email being moved to the 'Bad' directory

Smtp.SubmitToPickupFolder (which you're using to send email to the pickup folder) returns the generated filename.
As for logging error messages, there are a number of ways. You can modify the source code to add your processing in OnMessageNotSent method in MailBee.NET Queue API\QueueRunner.cs
That method saves the exception in Windows Event Log. You can also save it to whenever you need to.

Alex
