When I try to send an email from my account that is setup in Entourage on my Mac via an IMAP connection I get the following error.
"Unable to add message to IMAP mailbox. The corresponding local folder will be used instead"
The email gets sent but I get this error and the message is not added to my IMAP sent folder.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I'm using the latest version as I just downloaded and installed it last week. How do I check the version?
Thanks,
Dustin

To check the version number, locate \WEBMAIL\App_Code\Constants.cs file and find the line there like this one:
Code:
public const string WMVERSION = "4.9.10"; |

Please make sure that you have Full Control permissions granted over MailRoot directory over NETWORK and NETWORK SERVICE accounts.
Does it help?

I've granted NETWORK and NETWORK SERVICE accounts full access to the MailRoot directory and still get the same error when using Entourage.

As this may be a client issue, try the same with a different IMAP client, e.g. Mozilla Thunderbird. Does the issue persist?

I've tried this with both Apple Mail and Thunderbird and I have the same issue with Thunderbird. The Thunderbird error is "There was an error copying the message to the Sent folder."
Any other idea?

If you send a mail with WebMail Pro interface, do you have that mail in Sent folder of your email client? We need to know if this is one-way issue.

Yes, if I login to the WebMail Pro interface and send a message that sent item then shows up in my sent folder on my email client.
So it works from the web UI and the client can read the sent folder but the client can not write to the sent folder.

I've got news on this from our developers team. They have reproduced the issue, the fix will probably become available tomorrow. I'll keep you updated.

The fix is available for download now.
You'll need to stop the service, make sure it is stopped completely. Create backup copies of \filters and \bin folders under MailRoot and replace them with those found in the archive. Restart the service.

Igor,
Thank you for the updated files. I've installed them as you had stated but I still have the same issue. I'm get the same error message with Entourage on the Mac when I send and I also get this same message when I try to save a draft. So no messages are being saved or moved to the server successfully.
