Hi,
I have finalized afterlogic for my email server and webmail
client. But before buying the Pro version i am going to test
the community edition. I'll be asking couple of questions.

- Is it possible to completely deploy Afterlogic MailSuitePro
(Linux or windows) on amazon servers without any
modification ?

- Can you we use Amazon’s S3, Simple Queue Service and
EC2 with this webmail solution ?

- What type of servers usually you recommend ISP's to host
this mailsuite on ?

Unfortunately, the answer is no (see below).

While it should be possible to use Amazon S3 after performing slight modification related to filesystem mounting, neither SQS which relies on SOAP nor EC2 which by default is Java-oriented can be used. We haven't really test this, I must add though.

There are no specific requirements in this regard. Virtually any dedicated server would do.

Did it take any additional tweaks to get this running on Amazon servers? We'd highly appreciate if you share hints useful for the installation with the community.

dedicated server. just had few problems with MX and PTR
records but its configuration issue.

I haven't tested all the feature as i am still in the middle of
configuration. Will share it soon when done with the
configuration. I would suggest just like MySql instance for
amazon, Afterlogic can be customized in future to take Full
advantage of cloud computing (amazon) at a very cheap rate.
