hello
i have installed xmail 1.25 on fedora. it's ok.
i can send and receive mails.
but now i am working on ubuntu server. xmail is installed, but don't start.
it returns this error msg
......
SMAIL thread [14] started
SMAIL thread [15] started
[XMail 1.25 CTRL Server] started
[XMail 1.25 CTRLS Server] started
Socket bind error
SMAIL thread [00] exiting
SMAIL thread [00] stopped
SMAIL thread [01] exiting
SMAIL thread [01] stopped
.......
/var/run/XMail.pid : No such file or directory
could you help me understanding then solving the pb?

Did you install original XMail or AfterLogic XMail Server? Anyway, this version is outdated, we recommend to download the latest version of free AfterLogic XMail Server Lite or commercial AfterLogic XMail Server Pro.
This forum thread may be helpful with regard to installing AfterLogic XMail Server on Ubuntu Linux.
