To send mails, first you need mail component to create and send mails (that is MailBee SMTP). MailBee SMTP is capable of creating and sending mail to any SMTP mail server.

Second, you will probably want to get your own SMTP server (this will allow your system to be independent of third-party servers).

Free SMTP server is available in Win2000/WinXP/Win2003. It's not installed by default, but it's available as an option of Internet Information Server (IIS) installation.

MailBee SMTP Component is fully compatible with IIS SMTP service.

Although, there is a number of mail server products from third-parties. They can also be used with MailBee.

I am running Exchange 2000 and need web mail application that would help users of my website to sed and received emails. Can MailBee be integrated with Exchange? What about the login credential set on Active Directory? Can they be used?

Yes, MailBee WebMail can be integrated with Exchange.

User credentials (user login and password) set on Active Directory can be used to log in Exchange email account using MailBee WebMail.

If you mean some kind of deeper integration, please contact us by mailbee@iforum.com email to discuss your task in detail.

I have yet to use this program. However, is there a manual posted somewhere that I could access to give me a "how to" rundown?

You can download MailBee trial version from this site to get electronic documentation on MailBee usage. Or you can email us to mailbee@iforum.com (please provide more detailed information on your exact needs).

Regards,
Alex
