I supply mail service to a local non-profit.

Their staff usually uses Outlook, but they need a way to access email from home or road.

If they use afterlogic webmail lite, and send a mail through it... once they get home and download their email into outlook, what happens to the 'sent' mails? Will they automatically port into the outlook sent box?

If not, any suggestions on the best way to handle that issue?

oh, no outbox in lite, is that right? Just installed it and can't find one.

I understood that lite wouldn't have folders, which is fine because I want something simple for them. But I figured it would save sent messages in an outbox.

You see, webmail LITE gets mail straight out of pop3 server - it doesnt use database or folders, and all you have on pop3 server is Inbox, you just cant have Outbox this way.

I would recommend to choose webmail PRO: you can select direct mode there, set it as default - and it will be much like LITE, really simple, but you can use outbox and trash there too. You may need imap, but it's only in pro, same about contacts and stuff. I am not sure if they allow SSL in LITE, but gmail needs this... And you don't actually have your personal user space in LITE- just login, read and send mails, logout, that's all - but that's for free

Plus, I am sure that guys at afterlogic can give you some discount as it's about nonprofit organisation

Cheers,
Corwin
