Hello,
We have run into issues that appear to be related to the Filters. It seems that when a quantity of email is coming in from a remote pop server that we periodically get an error saying 'unable to connect to pop3 server' and only a few emails come in. If we keep checking for new messages eventually they all come in and things begin working fine for the rest of the day.
However, when this error occurs we found out that if we go in and delete any filters setup that all email then comes in without any errors.
I suspect that if a quantity of email comes in that would qualify for a filter that something gets screwed up and fails.
Although we cant pin-point exactly the steps to reproduce, it definately appears related to the filters when lots of email is coming in during a check cycle.
Any ideas here?
Thanks,
Rob

This is the complex issue which requires participation of the developers team. Please e-mail us after 10 Jan when the developers team return from New Year vacation.

Hello,
Any updates towards this? Our users have had to disable their filters to avoid being affected by this problem.

Could you please enable logging in Admin Panel / WebMail / Debug Settings / Enable logging, reproduce the issue and provide us with the log file for examination?
It's important to make sure the log file doesn't contain irrelevant records which may appear if multiple users are accessing the same WebMail Pro installation simultaneously or a single user performs irrelevant actions.
Best regards,
Andrew
