Teams address book does not work when using carddav.
Clients (thunderbird, ios contacts) will connect and discover /gab/ but there is no contacts there.
Tested also with aurora.afterlogic.com result is same, gab address book is empty, but contacts exist there when viewed using webmail.

If you access DAV via web browser, be it https://aurora-dav.afterlogic.com/gab/ for our Live Demo, or a similar URL for your own installation (assuming "UseBrowserPlugin" is set to true in data/settings/modules/Dav.config.json file) - do you see the contacts there?

Yes, when UseBrowserPlugin is true, i see contacts in /gab/ URL with browser.
In both, my installation and aurora demo.
But that was not the problem i reported.
Try adding /gab/ as thunderbird address book, or download ios profile and see if gab contains any contacts in those carddav clients.

I have spoken to the developers on this, and according to them, gab isn't exactly a standard address book, but a CardDAV Directory - and as such, it doesn't allow for browsing contacts, it can only provide a search interface; I believe it should work that way at least in case of iOS. Thank you.

OK, thank you Igor.
Can you test this in your setup.
In mine it does not work: i allow only Gab group in ios contacts, then go to search and insert characters to search box but nothing is found.

And another thing.
https://afterlogic.com/docs/aurora-files/configuration/access-global-address-book-on-ldap
Quote: "NB: It's important to disable TeamContacts module, that's done by setting Disabled to true in data/settings/modules/TeamContacts.config.json configuration file."
Is this behavior changed in some version?
Behavior in my installation (9.8.0) is different. When i enable TeamContactsLdap module, it will replace all Team contacts (both modules are enabled).
If i do as documentation says (disable TeamContacts module), then there is no longer Team in contacts screen at all (only TeamContactsLdap module is enabled).

Hmm, you're right, it doesn't actually work on the latest 9.8.1 build we have at aurora.afterlogic.com - it does work on the latest development snapshot though, so most likely the issue is corrected already.
I don't have a quick answer regarding TeamContactsLdap, we'll have this looked into - but I can say that if both the modules are enabled, then response from TeamContactsLdap will overwrite anything returned by the main TeamContacts module.
