I have installed Aurora Corporate on my server and everytime I paste in my trial code, the app crashes. I get a message at the top of the screen saying there is no internet connection and my log is saying that the module licensing class file "KI" is not found. At this point, I have to upload all files to the server again and start over each time, regardless of what I do, the outcome remains the same.

Does your server run an antivirus/malware scanner of some sort? The file modules/Licensing/classes/KI.php contains heavily encoded license key check logic and it could be falsely identified as a virus and removed due to that.

I am on a shared hosting plan, so I would assume so. Is there anyway around this?

Not that we know of, the file is protected for a reason. Try raising an issue ticket with your hosting provider regarding antivirus false positives.

In fact, there is an idea. You could take the source code of KI.php file and run it through an online PHP obfuscator, such as this one; there's a chance the modified file will no longer trigger an alert for antivirus scanner. Trying different obfuscators with different settings could be a good idea too. Still the original advice about contacting your host remains a preferred one.

Okay, thank you.
If I get this working and decide to buy, if I buy a license for 5 users and later need more, will the original licensed users be added or be discounted for the upgrade or will I have to pay full price for the next available license?

When you purchase a license, you get 1 year of support and upgrades. During that period, you can upgrade your license for the price difference.

So I tried obfuscating the file. But when I upload it, I still get the same issue. And the hosting company says they can't do anything about it. Any other ideas?
