Hello,
I use WebMail Lite for one of my domains.
At this moment i can login with every domainname as long the first part of the emailaddress is valid.
For example: info is a existing mailaccount on my mailserver. When i use info@example.com and the right password i can login to the webmail. If i use info@afterlogic.com and the password for the info account i can still login.
I want to specify which domain can login so that the user can't login with a wrong domainname. But i can't find the option to do it.
Some information:
Postfix
Dovecot
Latest WebMail Lite with Nginx
Thanks in advance

Hi,
I guess both domains are hosted on the same mail server, correct? If you need to have different settings/permissions for different domains on the same mail server, you'll need to upgrade to WebMail Pro version. It allows for precise control of domains and users.

Alex

Hi Alex,
Thanks for your reply.
No i have my own VPS and i installed everything from scratch.
I only host one domain from that server. But i can login with every domain name as long the localpart is valid.
Regards,
Quincy

Hi Quincy,
It's just not possible. Webmail does not know the host name of other IMAP servers (besides your locahost) so it cannot connect to them unless you added that domains in AdminPanel and described their IMAP settings there. The problem must be hidden somewhere else.
In Pro version, it's possible to add email accounts on per account level (so that the account is not associated with any domain) and this lets adding an account on an arbitrary IMAP server. But in Lite version, there is no such feature. And even in Pro version, adding an account on another IMAP server manually anyway requires typing the IMAP host name from the user or from admin.
Regards,
Alex
