Hi all,
I have the remote IP set in the settings.xml file and it works for IMAP but when I try to send a message I get an error notification. The log looks like this..
[18:27:15.75][762c82dc] IMAP[NOTE]: Start connection to "tcp://78.129.245.80:143"
[18:27:15.76][762c82dc] IMAP[DATA]: < * OK IMAPrev1\r\n

[18:27:15.76][762c82dc] IMAP[DATA]: < * CAPABILITY IMAP4 IMAP4rev1 CHILDREN IDLE QUOTA SORT ACL NAMESPACE RIGHTS=texk\r\n
[18:27:15.76][762c82dc] IMAP[DATA]: < TAG1 OK CAPABILITY completed\r\n
[18:27:15.76][762c82dc] IMAP[SECURE]: > TAG2 LOGIN "rolf@manchestergiants.com" "********"\r\n
[18:27:15.76][762c82dc] IMAP[DATA]: < TAG2 OK LOGIN completed\r\n
[18:27:15.77][762c82dc] SMTP[NOTE]: Start connection to "tcp://127.0.0.1:25"
[18:27:16.78][762c82dc] SMTP[NOTICE]: Socket: [2] stream_socket_client(): unable to connect to tcp://127.0.0.1:25 (No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
Why is it trying 127.0.0.1 when the IP is set in the settings file..?
I have tried a completely new setup and install and its the same..any ideas..?
Thanks

==FIXED==
This was an installation that was moved. I checked the database and it had settings with the localhost IP.
What do the settings in the settings.xml file do if it only uses the ones from the database in the awm_accounts table..?
Thanks
Rolf

Those settings apply when you create a new account in WebMail. Once the account is created, settings.xml will not have effect on it.
