Hi,
When upgrading from 7.0.1 to 7.0.2 do I have to replace all the files? I have done som minor changes, so it wold be great if you have list of the files that need to be replaced. Also do I have to update something in the database?

I'm afraid we don't maintain a list of files changed between versions, so you could either run a tool like diff which shows a difference between files in two directories, or update the entire installation. As for database updates, I believe there were few minor ones, so make sure you run "Update tables" function from the AdminPanel.

Thanks Igor,
I've just tested the update and noticed a bug.
I have a few accounts connected to my main account, but after I run the update tables the accounts disappeared. It's not a problem for me to add them again, but I have a few clients using the webmail, and I can't risk this happening to them. Do you have an easy fix for this?

I don't think that's a known issue, I'll try to reproduce it locally, and if things work fine over here, there's not much we could do about it.

Well, I've set up a blank install of 7.0.1, created an account and added two linked ones. Upon the upgrade to 7.0.2, the account is intact and linked ones are in place, so it looks like I wasn't able to reproduce the issue. And in the update script log, I didn't find anything that could cause such an effect, all it contains is:
Code:
Delete def_order, getmail_at_login, mail_mode, mails_on_server_days, delimiter, namespace column(s) in awm_accounts table: done!
Add skype, facebook column(s) in awm_addr_book table: done!
Add index(s) on addressbookid column(s) in adav_cards table: done! |
|
|
If you can replicate the problem on a blank install, please let us know what steps exactly are needed to be done to achieve that.

Thanks,
What I did was to do a fresh installation of v.7.0.2 without creating the database data. Then I imported the sql from v7.0.1 to the new database, logged in to the adminpanel and updated the tables.

Hmm, I didn't try it other way around, will see how this works and let you know. But first, can you please confirm we're actually talking about WebMail Pro here? I mean, it's a Lite section, and Lite doesn't offer adding accounts.

Have just tested this your way, and still it works as expected. For now, this really sounds like the result of switching from Pro 7.0.1 to Lite 7.0.2. I don't have any other explanations, and the issue is not reproduced locally.
