I'm attempting to run an Afterlogic XMail server on Windows, but I'd rather not install an IIS Server. That said, I've taken the PHP Admin panel from the linux package and pointed it at the proper settings file to allow me to login to the admin panel. Now whenever I change a setting, I get an error: Cannot connect to XMail Server. Obviously I'm missing a setting somewhere I need to change - does anyone know where I might find it?

I am trying to do the same thing and get the same message. Were you able to figure this out? I checked with support and they told me that since this is not standard they probably won't be able to help me? If you have succeeded in fixing I would really appreciate your help.

Actually, I said I will try this, and I'm still going to; I'm just not sure when I'll have a chance for this, as I'm doing this at home when I have time The task itself looks really interesting and I'm not going to give up!

I have tested this, and ready-to-use technique is available now in the following Knowledge Base article:

Is the linux package still available for download? I ask this because the link to download it seems to have disappeared.

After re-reading the guide I noticed that I missed "NB: In order to use this scenario in production environment, you'll need to purchase a license for Linux version of XMail Server Pro." at the bottem of the page

Currently, only Windows version is available for download from our site, but you can use this direct link to download latest version for Linux.

Actually, you can purchase Windows version license for number of users you need. Contact us after placing the order, we'll send you Linux/PHP key once your order gets processed. For trial use, you can request a key from AdminPanel once PHP webparts are installed.
