Hello,

I have used postfix mail server before it worked well and its port is 995(SSL),Now i am trying in Microsoft exchange server 5.5, port is 110.

But it throws the following exception.

SSL-related Win32 function returned an error. See NativeErrorCode property value for more information. The Win32 error code is: -2146893048.

so I have searched the 'AfterLogin forum', they suggested download the latest MailBee.dll .so i did that but till i am getting the same error.

Please advise..

Thanks & Regards
Mani

Most probably, you are trying to access your POP3 server account via SSL using non-SSL port 110. Make sure you don't use SSL to connect to your account on MS Exchange server.

If this doesn't help, please enable logging, reproduce the issue and send us the log file for examination.

Regards,
Igor.

Thank you for the log file.

Like we originally presumed, your application tried to establish SSL connection through non-SSL port. You should either use dedicated SSL port (995) of your mail server or turn SSL off in your application.

Regards,
Igor.

Could you please try to connect to your server through 995 port via another e-mail client like Mozilla Thunderbird installed on the same workstation/server your application powered by MailBee.NET POP3 is installed on? Does it work?

Best regards,
Andrew

Those exceptions state that this is most probably caused by a protective software installed on the same workstation/server your application powered by MailBee.NET Objects is installed on. If you have firewall or antivirus software running there, please try to disable it temporarily for test purposes.

If you are able to access your mailbox using Mozilla Thunderbird but unable to access it using your application, it usually means that Mozilla Thunderbird is white-listed in antivirus/firewall configuration, while your application is not.

Igor

We understand you have installed Mozilla Thunderbird. What we need to know is: are you able to connect to Microsoft Exchange with Mozilla Thunderbird via SSL using port 995?

Please note that it would be very helpful to provide appropriate part of the log files along with exception messages.

Regards,
Igor
