I am currently in the process of developping a integrated webmail application based on the mailBee objects in a existing web application.
Is there any component, software or script that can enable my webmail application to check email messages and uploads for a virus??
Of course I can virus check my email with the email server but good ones for that solution are very expensive.
Can anyone help me?

Common solution for this problem is using antivirus which is capable of checking disk write operations. Most antiviruses today do provide such a mode.
WebMail Pro stores attachments in separate files (not in database), thus making use of antiviruses possible. If a file contains virus, it will be deleted by antivirus just after the write operation. The same technique can be applied to any file writing operations, not necessarily connected to webmail applications.

Alex
