hello i belive im using free version webmail lite and i cant access my admin
it lives at ionos shared web hosting so i dont have acccess to the cli
https://firemail.thefriendsnetwork.ca
my subdomain points to the root folder called webmail_php
and so i thought if i go to
https://firemail.thefriendsnetwork.ca/adminpanel
i would get the admin login but instead i get front end login
i want to access my login to slect receiver notificayions alerts emails

I see different UIs at https://firemail.thefriendsnetwork.ca and https://firemail.thefriendsnetwork.ca/adminpanel. Yes, https://firemail.thefriendsnetwork.ca/adminpanel looks like admin UI, not frontend login.

hello
i am able to login i found my login details
however i dont see anywhere that i can enable alert to have receiver say yes they receve email
i guess its not in this version or its a source code change?
thx if you have link to change code if not its okay thxz alot

Do you mean "reading confirmation" checkbox in the toolbar on the message compose screen?

hello
i just slected the option read conformation and sent myself an email but there is no alert asking me to reply that i rcvd it to the sender
maybe i need to send to third party or a seperate email doesnt matter same domain?
ok i will keep trying

hello okay i sent to another email address same domain and it was a little hard to see at the top but i saw the alert and then i went to my sender box and i got the reply that the receptent got my email
thxz alot but i read on the web not all mail servers/clients allow this

hello sorry for many emails i should have down all my testing then wrote the various email results
1. gmail-- no alert at all
2. ionos-- alert plus return notification rcvd
3 hotmail-- alert but no return notification rcvd
4 do not have other email servers unless you can provide

There is no way to force the receipt to send read receipt. "Reading confirmation" option simply asks the recipient to do it. But the recipient can ignore it. And many mail services indeed ignore all such requests (because they are typically used by spammers to collect monitored emails by checking read-receipts).
