Is there any news about send email using smtp and using oauth2 authentication through outlook.office365.com?
Is it possible?

Assuming you're asking about credentials grant flow for SMTP, Microsoft didn't provide it yet, they only have it for IMAP and POP3 at the moment.
Anyway, according to their announcement, basic auth will still work for SMTP:
