Hello,

ActiveServer is a very interesting extension for Aurora. We have set it up for testing and the data of our test user is synchronized. However, we have the problem that the data on the mobile device disappears again and again and is displayed again after a short time.

The following error message appears in the LOG file:
Mobile loop detected! Messages sent to the mobile will be restricted to 1 items in order to identify the conflict

Can you help us with this?

Best regards,
Tower

That's a normal behavior of Z-Push which usually happens on unstable connection, it basically means the server drops duplicate requests processing just one of them:

Are there any other errors in ActiveServer / Z-Push or Aurora logs which could be related to this?

Hello Igor,

Thank you for your support.

This is the first message in the LOG file:
.../lib/default/filestatemachine.php: 211 unsialize (): Error at offset 0 of 1 bytes (8)

Otherwise only loop messages.

Best regards,
Tower

Not sure what could be causing that, but I do have an idea. I've uploaded the set of configuration files used on our live ActiveServer setup, you can get those from here. There's a good chance that comparing those with your configuration may help.

One thing worth mentioning is it's of vital importance to make sure your IMAP namespace is configured correctly, see step 5 of installation instructions. In the past, we've have encountered calenar/contact sync issues on Android, quite similar to what you described, and turned out the problem was actually caused by incorrect IMAP namespace setup.

Hello,

Afterlogic ActiveServer works for me without any problems. No loops and status ok.

Solution: I built a completely new ActiveServer package based on z-push 2.6.2.

DeviceId:               androidcxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Device type:            Android
UserAgent:              Android-Mail/2021.06.13.383748829.Release
ActiveSync version:     14.0
First sync:             2021-07-20 16:52
Last sync:              2021-07-20 16:53
Sync Period:            unlimited (0)
Total folders:          9
Short folder Ids:       No
Synchronized folders:   4
Synchronized data:      Emails Calendars Tasks Contacts
Additional Folders:     none
Status:                 OK
WipeRequest on:        not set
WipeRequest by:        not set
Wiped on:               not set
Policy name:            default
Attention needed:       No errors known

I can make the package available to you.

Best regards,
Tower

Hello,

Thank you for the update. As far as I can tell, currently we use Z-Push 2.6.0, I've asked the developers to build an updated package. In the meantime, you're welcome to share your build of the package.

I'm curious though, were there any noticeable changes in the configuration files, or they were exactly the same for you in both the versions and the only difference is Z-Push code itself?
