Hello, i am trying to setup the php lite version i got from the website to work with my email server.
My email server username uses a local name like rookster1984 and not a email address like rookster@hotmail.com, but it wont let me use a no email address login or i dont know how to do it, can someone please help, i am sure it was possible on a lower version of webmail lite (sorry if i am wrong), thanks all.

In v7 of WebMail, it's possible to switch login form so that it accepts both email and login. That's done by setting LoginFormType to Both in data/settings/settings.xml file. See the following documentation page for details:
