After searching for an answer regarding my problem, I come here with a question regarding the posibility of changing users passwords. I know that in the Afterlogic PHP version there is a plugin that I can use with hMailServer and solve this but PHP version does not support MS SQL...

Is there any posibility in implementing user password change for my current setup (latest version of hMailServer, MS SQL database; Afterlogic Lite . NET 5.1.5 - latest one that has MS SQL support) without migrating to MySQL and using Afterlogic PHP?

Regards,
Adrian

A while back we've implemented hMailServer password change for ASP.NET version, but I don't think it'll work with Lite, as password change there is tied to domains, and there are no domains as such in WebMail Lite. Still, you may be able to make it work by altering the code.

Please bear in mind that WebMail Lite ASP.NET is discontinued and doesn't come with support from AfterLogic in any way.

Thank you for your prompt answer.

Unfortunately this does not work...

I guess that I don't have any other solution than migrate hMailServer to MySQL :(...

Well that isn't actually required, you can still run hMailServer on MS SQL, but you'll need MySQL on the same server, and use it by WebMail PHP.

And 10 minutes later problem is solved, did install MySQL server and went for .Lite Php version of Afterlogic webmail.

Password change plugin works perfect.

Thank you for your support!

Adrian
