Hi,

I'm using AfterLogic webmail since a moment. Everything worked fine with 2 domains. I bought a third domain and started hosting a fourth domain and here came the problems.

When I try to send a mail from another client (like from my phone or anything) everything work but from the webmail, the two last domains can't send mails...

Any idea ? Which log would like to see ?

Pascal

I isolated two logs :

Sending an email successfully : https://pband.ch/debug/success.txt
Sending an email not working : https://pband.ch/debug/error.txt

Even if the configuration didn't change, I saw a major difference that I can't explain :
On working log : IMAP[NOTE]: Start connection to "tcp://127.0.0.1:143"
On not working : IMAP[NOTE]: Start connection to "ssl://mail.server.ch:993"
Why ?...

Regards
Pascal

In the 2nd log file, I don't see any issues with connecting to IMAP server over port 993, that one looks good. However, there is a problem with connecting to SMTP server over port 465, make sure that mailserver actually listens to that port; checking that with a desktop client like Mozilla Thunderbird may be a good idea.

I already checked, several accounts on every domains are configured on different mail client (Windows 10 mail client, Android default app) and everything is working :(
The issue is really only on the Webmail

As far as I can tell from the success.txt log file, accessing SMTP server via port 25 works just fine. What if you try accessing the server via port 25, doesn't it work for those specific accounts?

Yeah I see that it's working on the port 25.
But when I connect to the webmail with the not working email, it doesn't connect on the port 25... I can't understand why

Are you saying that, when logging with some email address, you can access IMAP but not SMTP - both using non-SSL ports, that is?

Also, I'm curious - how exactly did you achieve accessing different domains, with different mailserver names, on WebMail Lite which doesn't really support multiple domains (as in, multiple mailservers)?

Exactly but only for 2 domains, the 2 others are working.

Where I see something wrong is that even if I don't touch the config, it doesn't use the same way between different domains...

The domains points on the same IP and when I configure the mail from another client, I can set any domain and it work. Even if change the domain in config or if I set localhost (it's what I've done) nothing change...

I really don't understand where the problem is...

The only suggestion I have at the moment is to compare the IMAP and SMTP settings in the logs, there's probably some difference between those; the idea is to locate the settings that actually work.

Also if you may be interested in using webmail application with premium features and enjoy commercial-grade support, consider using WebMail Pro.
