Hi All,
i am trying to integrate hmailserver and webmail lite.
i have managed to install both and verified that hmailserver is working by having outlook connected through account i created in hmailserver.
webmail lite installed perfectly but i have a problem logging in with the email accounts i created in hmailserver.
hmailserver is installed in my main server and weblite is installed in my laptop. my end goal is to separate the 2.
i have tried entering my mx mail server address mail.*.* or the ip address of the server. I cant still login, it always tells me wrong username and password.

To check what's causing the problem, you need to enable logging in AdminPanel, set log verbosity to Debug, reproduce the problem and check the logs.

Please uncheck "Only already registered users can access WebMail" option at the "Domains" tab in AdminPanel.
(If not set, a new WebMail account will be auto-provisioned for the user on the first login if the provided credentials denote a valid e-mail account on this server.)

i am also curious, if webmail lite has its own tables, how would it integrate with hmailserver, which also has its own tables?
i dont see in the settings how to actually use the users defined in hmailserver.
do i need to point webmail database to hmailserver database? or they each need their own table?
the database tables are different.

The log file shows you're attempting to connect to port 995 which is POP3 port, you need to use IMAP port 993 instead.

It doesn't work that way. WebMail accesses the server over IMAP and SMTP ports, database-level integration isn't supported and, frankly, isn't required. As long as email account exists on mailserver, you should be able to log into that account, regardless of what kind of mail server you use.
There is a plugin which allows for changing password on hMailServer but it doesn't access hMailServer database either; hMailServer offers quite powerful API other web applications can use to manipulate email accounts, settings etc.
