WebMail Lite PHP is a free and opensource product, so the customization is allowed of course, and you can implement any set of features you require. However, any modifications are users' responsibility, so it is definitely assumed you know how to find a way through the code, I just wanted to make sure you realize that. And if you require assistance from the developers team directly, consider purchasing Professional Services contract.
