I installed but got a popup saying no appconfig file.
Then i set up IIS application manually for WEBMAIL directory

I changed admin password, application seems working.

But i cannot edit smtp setting. When i try to save i'm getting "update
unsuccessful!: negative server response"

what is the reason for this? am i missing some IIS security setting? Or is it
about sql server?

I understand you are using MailSuite Lite for Windows, is that correct?

You'll need to check the logs according to this documentation page and see if there's anything relevant in the log files.
