Hello,

I'd like to know if there's any way to identify if a folder is the 'Trash' folder?
(or any other system folder for that matter).

For example, in gmail, the user can localize it, so it gets another name.

I saw that there's a command named XLIST which may do that kind of "translation"
(for gmail only). Do you have anything similar or a way to invoke it?

Thank you,
Yaniv

The only standard folder name in IMAP is Inbox (or INBOX, it's case-insensitive). The rest of folders doesn't have any flags which would allow determining folder's special purpose. Moreover, there are no even standard folder names for them. For instance, you can have Sent folder on one IMAP server and Sent Items on another, same goes for Spam/Junk etc.

Is it possible to change in code the Identity of 'Trash' and 'Spam' folders. I would like to have on all accounts 'Deleted Items' and 'Junk E-mail' because we are using Outlook and Microsoft have these names by default.

I followed the instructions on forum (http://www.afterlogic.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=2570&KW =folder+spam) but there was still Trash and Spam folders after modification of code.

I have AfterLogic WebMail Pro version 5.1.7

Thanks and best regards,
Matt
