hello,
When I download messages from gmail, there are messages that 'belong' to more than one folder, e.g. inbox & important, etc.
How can I tell that I have already downloaded such a message? I'd like to download it only once and mark all its 'parent' folders.
Can it be done at all? Is it just a gmail feature?
Thanks a lot

With Gmail, you can check folder flags and if it's Starred or AllMail, this is "virtual" folder. You can ignore it because all mails from it are also contained in some other folders.
Note that MailBee.NET IMAP supports FolderFlags.Starred and FolderFlags.AllMail in Gmail only since v6.10.
Most of other servers do not support Starred or AllMail flags (as it requires support of XLIST IMAP extension which is quite specific to Gmail) but they also do not have the problem with virtual folders so the issue is irrelevant to them.
regards,
Alex
