hey all,
I'm fairly new to mailbee and I've got to say it's very good. :)
I'm writing my own sync app to sync the mails between outlook and googlemail's server. I have managed to get read and unread mails sync'ed both ways ok, but I'm having problems with getting the sent mail from googlemail into my outlook sent items folder.
Has anyone done this??
Can anyone shed any light on how it can be done??
The main issue I've found is that googlemail doesn't support the \answered flag so I cant search for them.
Is there a way round this?
Or, shall I be llooking for another web bsaed imap4 email provider that does??
Any suggestions are gretfully recieved.
Thanking you for your time
Blastman :)

Is there any reason to develop a special application for synchronization? Why not synchronize Outlook with Gmail through IMAP directly?
Best regards,
Andrew

Because these are two different accounts.
outlook = work mail (on a hidden pop3 server - not accessable via the internet)
Googlemail = a copy of all mail is being forward from the work mail server. I then pick these mails up on my phone.
Currently, this means i have no sync at all. hence why I'm building this app.

Got you.

What exactly is wrong? "Sent Items" folder is typical folder similar to all others, what works for "Inbox" should work for "Sent Items".

What is the reason you need \answered flag for? How did you learn that it's not supported?
Best regards,
