Hello everyone,
Although it's being said that the mail scheduling can be enabled via a file, the file is not located in the directory that is listed. I'm trying to install the latest version of Webmail lite. Your help is appreciated.
Schedule sending mail
This feature allows you to send mail out at a later time rather than immediately upon clicking Send button.
NB: This module is included into the product starting from version 9.5.2.
If you're running a previous version, you can add this module as described here.
The feature requires setting a cronjob (see below).
To enable the feature, edit data/settings/modules/MailScheduledMessages.config.json configuration file and set "Disabled" to false there. Once that's done, you'll get an additional "Schedule sending" dropdown option at "Send" button:
Schedule sending
Upon selecting this option, you'll get a popup asking when you wish the message to be sent out. You can configure predefined message scheduling options by editing "PredefinedSchedule" configuration file setting.

I have checked this, and looks like the module is not included into the current release of WebMail Lite. I am reporting this to the development team.
You should still be able to add the module manually as described here: Adding modules

What is the expected timeline for the module inclusion?

Hello,
I've just discussed this with the product management, and it seems there was a confusion at some point in the past. Thing is, the module was never actually included into WebMail Lite, it was designed for the Pro version only. Plus, it requires advanced system-level configuration (cronjobs) which isn't a Lite thing really.
Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for bringing this to our attention. We'll probably be taking this page off Lite documentation - however, you can still add the module manually using the guide I've linked earlier.
UPD 21 Jan 2026:
the documentation page for WebMail Lite PHP has been updated, it now correctly reflects the installation process.
