We're considering adding one more feature to WebMail Pro, Personal Files Storage. It will allow you to upload files to your private storage, attach them to messages and store files sent to you over email. Syncing over DAV will be available as well, of course.

So, does that sound interesting? Would you want that in WebMail Pro? Or do you think this is excessive functionality which adds load and takes disk space on your server? Please feel free to vote and post your comments. And I know you hear these words daily, but - your opinion is really important for us.

We could activate this feature to specific users using EnableExtension or something like that.

 | It would be interesting also limiting file size and restricting file types.

This would be really great improvement for product, but it should be option for administrator to enable/disable this for users and set storage limit.

The feature was implemented in version 7.4. Thank you for your feedback, everyone!

this is a nice feature. My family and I'm using file storage every day.
 However, we miss a feature!

We have all mail adresses with the same domain name.
So when my wife uploads a file, it would be great, when all family members could access to the file directly.

Now every member has a privat folder in the file storage menu.
I would be great, when we could upload files to an open folder, where everybody can access this folder and files directly without sending a shared link of the file.

 Best regards from austria,
 Manuel

That's actually a groupware feature, not a personal one - and yes, it's available in Aurora as a Corporate file storage.
