Hi there guys!

The Owncloud marketplace has no description and the WMP8 doc page just explains how to install.

Does this integration do anything more than allow the webmail interface to be displayed in the owncloud application? Is there any type of file integration where I can attach files from Owncloud or save attached file to Owncloud? I've tried some demo emails but I can't seem to figure it out if it's there.

What's the purpose of the integration?

Thanks for your time!

Hello,

The only purpose of the integration is to make WebMail one of ownCloud applications user can select, with transparent integration - they can specify their email and password in ownCloud account settings, so they won't have to enter those again and again on WebMail login page.

In the future, we may extend the integration towards contacts, attachments etc. We welcome contributions, too!

Hi there Igor, and thanks very much for the quick reply!

I have to say I'm quite surprised that the web mail integration with a cloud file solution wouldn't have anything to do with the files :)

Although there's no need for me to use it in this format since it's just a different URL to access the web mail from, I'll keep it installed in the hopes of possible enhancements down the road.

Thanks again!
