Hi,

I'm user of AfterLogic WebMail Lite, but i'm trying to configurate the "Change Password" visibility, because i edited the files for works with cPanel mail but the form doesn't appears (i tried with the developer tools of chrome setting the visibility to true and works locally).

And another thing, the same problem with the visibility with the logout button, and in the documentation i can't find how enable it.

Afterwhile, the script is awesome, thanks!

Regards,
Adrian

Hello,

Do you actually use current v8 or previous v7 of WebMail Lite?

Is there anything relevant in debug logs of WebMail? Maybe any PHP errors in the logs of cPanel itself?

I see that:

[14:25:03.25][05e10da6] ..:: RESULT ::.. {"cpanelresult":{"event":{"result":1},"error":"The password that you entered has a strength rating of “46”. You cannot use it because it is too weak and too easy to guess. Please enter a password with a strength rating of “65” or higher.","data":[{"result":0,"reason":"The password that you entered has a strength rating of “46”. You cannot use it because it is too weak and too easy to guess. Please enter a password with a strength rating of “65” or higher."}],"apiversion":2,"module":"Email","func":"passwdpop"}}

How i can display that error to the user? Where i can edit?

The module doesn't currently support displaying those errors. You can find backend module for cPanel password change under modules/MailChangePasswordCpanelPlugin and web frontend module under modules/ChangePasswordWebclient directories. If the product is installed using cPanel installer, the installation directory is /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/afterlogic.

Yes, you're allowed to modify the source code of the product. This is, however, beyond free support scope - and community edition of Afterlogic WebMail doesn't come with guaranteed free support anyway. Thanks for the understanding.

Ok, no problem, thank you!! I wish in the future buy the server version, but in Argentina the dollar is too expensive now.
