hi
i am extreamly new to this stuff
i would like to disable/delete the delete email and the trash feature so no one can delete emails or is it possible to get a backup of every email on the admin mail adresse
i am using webmail lite

That's not something WebMail Lite can do. Sure you can remove the Delete button itself, that would be as trivial as looking for COREWEBCLIENT/ACTION_DELETE in files under modules/MailWebclient/templates and editing HTML there removing it (make sure to purge data/cache/ content to apply changes) but removing the Trash functionality itself is a much larger change.
Also, WebMail does not actually store the messages, it accesses them on mail server directly. So things like account backup should be taken to the mail server level as well. However, if you simply wish to download ZIP containing your emails in the folder, there's a feature doing just that: Export and import mails saved as ZIP archive
I should also point out that community editions of our products do not come with guaranteed support from Afterlogic - but even for our commercial products, support is only about standard use of unmodified products, any code customization is something you're doing at your own risk. Thanks.
