I reinstalled my vps from scratch and installed WebMail Lite for the first time. I followed the guide and ran into a problem: In the login screen it says "data transfer has failed!" and I also followed the Hints to get a description. The console says:

Could not load the source for blob:http://my.url/ac183c04-df3d-4186-b394-fb1a9cca8713.
[Exception... "Failed to open input source 'blob:http://my.url/ac183c04-df3d-4186-b394-fb1a9cca8713'" nsresult: "0x805303f4 (<unknown>)" location: "JS frame :: resource://devtools/shared/base-loader.js -> resource://devtools/shared/DevToolsUtils.js :: mainThreadFetch :: line 644" data: yes]
Stack: mainThreadFetch@resource://devtools/shared/base-loader.js -> resource://devtools/shared/DevToolsUtils.js:644:5
_getSourceText/<@resource://devtools/shared/base-loader.js -> resource://devtools/server/actors/source.js:417:29
Line: 644, column: 0

I have no clue, found nothing on this. Any idea is appreciated!

Thanks

Chris

Hello,

Not sure really what's that about, could be an issue with one of the plugins you have installed in your browser. Do you encounter the same issue in a different browser?

I think I found the culprit on this:

the mail-domain has a german umlaut in it (ä) and therefore it has two domains,
one without umlaut, more difficult (xx--domain-x0x). When I set this in mailadmin, there's another error:

(TAG1 NO (AUTHENTICATIONFAILED)

I checked the login-details twice and there's no error. There is a lag of seven seconds between click on login and error-message. The log says here:

[16:55:43.73][<censored>] [POST(4)][ip:<censored>] /mail/?/Api/
[16:55:43.73][<censored>] POST > [Module, Method, TenantName, Parameters]
[16:55:43.73][<censored>]
[16:55:43.73][<censored>] ApiException

Interesting. Can't promise anything but we'd like to take a look. Would it be possible to provide credentials of an account the issue can be reproduced with? We'll also need admin login details to check the logs and the domains configuration.

You can send the access details privately via Helpdesk.

Problem is solved! My customer had changed the domain (cancelled the old one and booked a new one afterwards in the same hosting-plan). But as we learned, he can't change the mail-settings, so it's still setup for the old domain, cause, now that I learned about the old domain, I was able to login with it. I think, the new domain isn't setup correctly on provider's side...
