Hi there,
I am currently using Afterlogic Webmail Lite, and have discovered a strange login issue that occurs based on certain settings.
First, I should mention that the checkmark in the admin-panel to only allow registered users to login is OFF.
In the webmail settings, I currently use the following settings, which are different from the default:
- LoginFormType: Login (user should enter username only, while domain part is defined with LoginAtDomainValue)
- LoginAtDomainValue: myactualdomain.com
- UseLoginWithoutDomain: On (full email address is sent as mail server login)
This works great for already created accounts (i.e. those accounts that were logged in for the first time prior to making the settings change). But I am unable to login with any accounts that have not been logged in yet, despite being absolutely sure the login credentials are correct (i.e. they work for Squirrelmail and Roundcube).
These same accounts work if I revert back to the original settings, and then when I change the settings again, they will work just fine (logging in with just the username portion without the domain).
I was wondering if this was a bug or if there is some reason new accounts cannot be created after making these settings?

I think this one might be a problematic aspect:

Actually, if you need to send full email address as mail server login, the option needs to be set to Off.
Does it work for you if you set it that way?

Hi Igor,
Yep it works now! I think the documentation swapped the ON and OFF explanations! 
So now the weird thing is that with the wrong setting with UseLoginWithoutDomain, existing accounts actually worked. That is, sending username-only worked for existing accounts despite the server wanting to see a full email address. This is why I assumed I had it set correctly.
So glad it works as expected now. Thanks!
