hi all,

im new to afterlogic webmail so excuse the stupid question,

i have installed it and got it up and running but i cant login

i have edited my settings.xml file so its like this -

<LoginFormType>Login</LoginFormType>
<LoginAtDomainValue>robo84.ddns.net</LoginAtDomainValue>
<UseLoginWithoutDomain>Off</UseLoginWithoutDomain>
<AllowNewUsersRegister>On</AllowNewUsersRegister>
<AllowUsersAddNewAccounts>Off</AllowUsersAddNewAccounts>

so i enter in my username and password without the @ blah blah but i just get error

and i am entering in the correct username and password as on my linux server when i do su - username and password i can login

any help please

Hello,

Are you able to login with the default configuration, i.e. when LoginAtDomainValue set to Email? If not, you'll need to check what's in the log file:

Debug logging as main troubleshooting measure

By the way, are mailserver and webmail installed on the same server? And if not, have you adjusted incoming/outgoing mail server settings so they point to mail server you use?

OK I will try changing it back to email instead of login

The mail server is on the same host as the webmail ie postfix/SMTP and imap/dovecot

Do I have to change use login without domain?

got it working, changed values to -
