In WebMail Pro 7.3, we have added experimental support for PostgreSQL. From the functionality-related point of view, it offers the same features as those available in case of MySQL (the only exception is that you can't create new database using WebMail Pro installer but you can still do this with PostgreSQL native tools).
If you believe PostgreSQL support is something you could benefit from, we encourage you to try it out and let us know what you think of the implementation, what can be improved there, and so on.

Hi Igor I'm still using WM pro 7.3 are we able to create new databases in the latest version of WM Pro?

There were no changes in that functionality, installer of the product allows for setting up connection to MySQL and PostgreSQL - creating databases, however, is available for MySQL only.
